Building a storage, transportation and delivery network that connects domestic and international markets and enables gas-liquid complementarity

ENN Zhoushan LNG Receiving Terminal

As China’s first large-scale LNG terminal approved by the National Energy Administration and invested in and built by a private enterprise, ENN Zhoushan LNG Terminal is located in the Zhoushan Area of the Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone. Leveraging its advantageous location, the terminal has been developed into a clean energy hub integrating LNG unloading and storage, gas and liquid outbound delivery, breakbulk and transshipment, and emergency peak-shaving, providing strong support for regional energy security and low-carbon transition.

The terminal has eight LNG storage tanks. After Phase III was put into operation, its total storage capacity increased to 1.52 million cubic meters, with daily regasification capacity reaching 40 million cubic meters and annual receiving capacity rising to 10 million metric tons, ranking among the leading LNG terminals in East China. Two of the storage tanks have been granted LNG bonded‑warehouse qualification, paving the way for expanded bonded‑warehouse operations.

The terminal is equipped with three specialized jetties covering LNG unloading, transshipment and multimodal transportation scenarios, making it one of the most functionally comprehensive LNG ports in China. Its outbound pipelines span a total length of 81 kilometers and are connected to Pipe China’s national pipeline network, with annual gas transmission capacity reaching 8 billion cubic meters, enough to meet the gas demand of approximately 40 million households.

In active response to China’s dual-carbon strategy, the terminal integrates cold energy power generation, photovoltaic technologies and digital-intelligent platforms to develop zero-carbon demonstration projects. It has also built a full-chain intelligent operations system covering vessels, tanks, pipelines and vehicles, enabling efficient, safe and green operations.

Customer-Centric and Diversified Services

The terminal is building an open and integrated LNG service platform covering LNG unloading, storage, regasification, transshipment, bonded bunkering and other services. It is also planning derivative businesses such as duty-paid LNG warehouse receipts and bonded LNG futures, enabling more precise matching of customers’ differentiated gas consumption and trading needs.

City Gas Infrastructure Operations

City Gas Infrastructure Operations

City gas infrastructure serves as the “blood vessels” and “nervous system” of an urban energy system. ENN fully leverages digital-intelligent technologies to enable full-scenario digital-intelligent applications across infrastructure planning, design, construction and operations.

Intelligent Engineering
Intelligent Engineering

By applying technologies such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things, mobile internet, big data and intelligent recognition, and guided by an “Internet + Engineering” approach, ENN strengthens digital-intelligent supervision over project progress, quality, safety and cost. This helps improve quality, ensure safety, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Intelligent Transmission and Distribution
Intelligent Transmission and Distribution

ENN uses customer gas demand forecasting models to accurately predict customers’ gas needs and match them with available resources, while monitoring withdrawal status at each offtake point. Its intelligent system analyzes pipeline capacity utilization and actual station operating efficiency in real time, improving operational efficiency through pressure and flow control.

Intelligent Stations
